Holmes Middle School presents its
Choose to Explore Summer Reading Program!

For each incoming grade level, students are to choose one novel from their grade level
reading list to read over the summer. Upon completion of their chosen book,
students need to fill out the organizer provided. In the fall, when students
return to school, they will be requested to turn in their organizers and
participate in their grade level team's follow-up activity.

Wolf Road Construction Project to Impact Buses & School Access
This spring, the Village of Wheeling is undertaking a major construction project along Wolf Road, north and south of Dundee Road. This project is going to focus on water main and sanitary sewer improvements. As a result of the work that needs to be done, road closures and detours are scheduled during the spring at different times. These detours will impact how individuals can access Holmes Middle School and Hawthorne Early Childhood Center as well as bus routes for a variety of schools. For more information on this project, please visit the information published by the Village of Wheeling.
